Arugam Bay is a fantastic place for the intermediate surfer to take his/her surfing to the next level - a point break is the perfect wave to give you the time to adjust your body and really dial in your turns on your surfboard and Arugam bay has some of the most user friendly point breaks in the world but unfortunately some of the most crowded too. Many are overtaken by terrible local instructors (most don't even surf!) pushing in people on foamies and running each other over and the better spots are often dangerously overcrowded with over enthusiastic unsupervised low skilled surfers. Fortunately there are many more surf spots and a few amazing surf instructors who we are proud to work with at "gliding through paradise" who will turn your frustrating surf trip in over crowded to Arugam Bay into the surf experience of a lifetime! Book now and surf with the best locals and benefit from their local knowledge of Arugam Bay and the surrounding point breaks. We will pair you up with one of these amazing ISA qualified Arugam Bay surf instructors who will provide you with all the surf equipment needed for your surfing lesson (intermediate surfboard included) and will take you to the best surf spot for your level (tuk tuk charges are extra). Please bring water, sun cream and snacks. Once your booking deposit ($12) has been paid we will contact you with all the details of your instructor and your meeting place via your contact details provided upon check out - please pay the balance ($48 or equivalent in LKR) directly to your instructor upon arrival.
